David Schneider, BSc, FIAA
Founder | CEODavid is an actuary, investment expert and software developer. He's CEO and founder of 10E24, and is passionate about helping retirees financially navigate their way through their retirement. David launched 10E24 in 2015.
Before arriving in Australia in 2005, David was a partner at Deloitte’s. Prior to that, David was the founder and Managing Director of Actuarial Solutions, the first actuarial consultancy in Botswana.
Experience
David was previously the Head of Investment Strategy at TelstraSuper, and the Head of Research and Quant Methods at UniSuper. At both organisations David had primary responsibility for the Funds' strategic asset allocation. At TelstraSuper David was also responsible for managing the Fund's dynamic asset allocation function while at UniSuper, David’s team managed two internal international equity quant mandates with over $2B in funds under management.Before arriving in Australia in 2005, David was a partner at Deloitte’s. Prior to that, David was the founder and Managing Director of Actuarial Solutions, the first actuarial consultancy in Botswana.
Research
David has served on several research and professional bodies, including being the Convenor of the Actuarial Society of South Africa’s AIDS committee. He has written a variety of papers on the epidemiological, demographic and financial impact of HIV/Aids in sub-Saharan Africa as well as four papers on investments.

Over his career, Jim has developed a real passion for using IT to help superannuation members and trustees make excellent retirement decisions.
He is a recognised thought leader on techniques to optimise retirement saving and consumption decisions and is a specialist on investments, SMSF financial planning as well as the Age Pension rules
